GETTING TO AND FROM THE VENUES

Getting to SDG Solution Space

​

For those staying with us at Crêt Bérard, a return shuttle bus will be provided on the 22nd May to SDG Solution Space, departing from Crêt Bérard at 7am and returning from SDG Solution Space at 8pm.

​

For those choosing to stay in Geneva, SDG Solution Space is located here and is easily accessible by bus (line 28)

or tram (line 15). From the airport, the quickest option is to take a 7 minute train to Gare Cornavin (Geneva central station) and change to the line 15 tram towards “Nations”, getting off at “Maison de la Paix”.

Note that there is a machine just before customs at the airport where you can draw a free ticket for public transport in all Geneva. You can also take a taxi or Uber which will cost approximately 25 CHF.

​

Please arrive at SDG SolutionSpace by 8:30 am on May 22nd to join us for coffee/breakfast before the programme starts at 9:00 am.

Getting to Crêt-Bérard

​

Driving:

Crêt-Bérard is situated 1 hour’s drive from Geneva airport (see directions here)

Be aware that the price for a taxi from Geneva Airport to Crêt-Berard is approximately 300 CHF.

​

Train: From Geneva airport, the nearest village of Puidoux is 1h10-1h20 by train with one change. You will then need to take a shuttle or taxi to Crêt-Bérard which will take about 10 mins. There are several train routes, including:

From Geneva airport station, take the IC5 train (Zurich). Change at Morges for the S4 train to Palézieux, getting off at Puidoux Chexbres.

​

From Geneva airport station, take the IR90 (Brig). Change at Lausanne for the S4 train to Palézieux, getting off at Puidoux Chexbres.

​

Weather and dress code

The dress code for the learning festival is informal. Weather in Geneva in May is usually lovely with temperatures in the low 20’s. Do plan for the possibility of rain though.
